Pat the Expat

  ในการเดินทางครั้งที่ผ่านมา เรามีโอกาสได้เข้าไปนั่งรอในห้องรับรองผู้โดยสาร Espace Zen (เอสปาซ เซ็น) ของสถานีรถไฟ Lyon Part-Dieu ( ลียง ปาร์-ดิเยอ) ในขณะที่กำลังเดินไปยังที่นั่งว่าง เราก็สะดุดตา (เกือบจะเดินสะดุดด้วย) เข้ากับนวัตกรรมใหม่แกะกล่อง (เพราะก่อนหน้านี้ไม่ยักกะมี) ที่ทางสถานีได้นำมาติดตั้งให้แก่ผู้โดยสารเพื่อเป็นการ “ฆ่าเวลา” อย่างแท้จริง ...แถ่น แทน แท้นนนนน... มันคือ “เครื่องจำหน่ายเรื่องสั้น ! ” อั้น อั้น อั้น... (กรุณาอ่านแบบมีเอคโคตามเพื่อความอลังการ)  ซึ่งเจ้าเครื่องที่หน้าตาละม้ายคล้ายที่กดบัตรคิวนี้ มีปุ่ม 3 ปุ่มให้เราเลือกกดตามเวลาที่เราต้องการ “ฆ่า” ได้แก่ 1 นาที 3 นาที และ 5 นาที เมื่อกดปุ่มเวลาที่เราต้องการแล้ว เครื่องก็จะทำการสุ่มพิมพ์กระดาษแผ่นน้อยๆ ที่บรรจุเรื่องสั้นเอาไว้ออกมาให้เราได้ไปนั่งอ่านสงบจิตสงบใจหลังจากเจอรถไฟดีเลย์กันแบบฟรีๆ 555 ล้อเล่นนะคะ ถึงรถไฟมาตรงเวลาก็เข้าไปอ่านได้ เครื่องจำหน่ายเรื่องสั้นที่สถานี Lyon Part-Dieu นักอ่านอย่างเราก็ขอลองของสิคะ จะรออะไร ตัดสินใจกดปุ่ม 3 นาที (ชอบทางสายกลาง) เครื่องก็พิมพ์ปรื๊ดดด … ออ

Upon my last trip to Lille, I had the chance to bump into a brand new invention… It’s a “Short Story Dispenser!” standing in a waiting room called “ Espace Zen ” With curiosity, I pressed on the button “3 minutes” choosing the time I preferred to spend while waiting for the (delayed) train. (There were 1-, 3- and 5 minutes.) The dispenser spit out a small ribbon of paper containing a short story.   The one I got was a kind of poem called “ Vers Libres” that has no actual rules for the format or number of syllables, and sometimes it even has no rhyme! My feedback was…I didn’t get a thing about this poem! Lol, anyway my French boyfriend told me that the poem was kind of deep and you had to work hard to interpret it. Lyon (ลียง) เมืองท่องเที่ยวอันเลื่องชื่ออีกแห่งของฝรั่งเศส แม้จะเป็นที่ จุดหมายที่ไม่ป๊อปเท่า ปารีส แต่เมืองสิง (โต) แห่งนี้ก็มีทั้งประวัติศาสตร์อันยาวนาน งานสถาปัตยกรรมและศิลปะที่งดงามมากมาย รวมไปถึงอาหารการกินที่อร่อยเลิศไม่แพ้ใครในแดนน้ำหอม เราเลยอยากแนะนำสถานที่และกิจกรรมเด็ดๆ 10 อันดับยอดนิยม ไว้ให้ใครที่ลงมาเที่ยวลียง ได้ลงมาใช้เวลาวันหยุดอย่างคุ้มค่ากัน 1. พิชิตยอด Fourvière วิวจากยอด Fourvière ท้าเดอะแกงค์ผู้พกความฟิตมาเต็มที่ ไต่ขึ้นบันไดกว่า 300 - 700 ขั้น (เลือกเลเวลความโหดได้จ้า) ขึ้นไปชมความงามทั้งภายนอกและภายในของโบสถ์ Notre-Dame (โนเทรอ-ดาม) ประจำเมือง และเมื่อหันหน้าไปทางทิศตะวันออกจะเห็นจุดชมวิวที่สามารถมองเห็นเมืองลียงเบื้องล่างได้ตลอด 24 ชม. หลังจากพักเหนื่อย จิบกาแฟกินขนมแบบพอหอมปากหอมคอ ก็พากันเดินเท้าต่อไป เขยิบเข้าใกล้ใจกลางยอดเขาอีกนิด เราก็จะพบกับโรงละครโรมันโบราณแห่ง Fourvière (ฟูร์วิแยร์) ที่แม้จะสร้างขึ้นตั้งแต่สมัยคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 1 แต่มันก็ยังมีหน้าตาและรูปร่างไม่ต่างจากเมื่อครั้งสร้างใหม่ๆ จนกระทั่งในปี 1946 ชาวเมืองลียงจึงได้เห็นพ
